This new Cummins DFEK QSX15-G9 diesel generator offers 500 kW standby power and 455 kW prime power, making it ideal for various industrial applications. Rated EPA Tier 2 for emissions, the generator is equipped with a Cummins QSX15-G9 engine delivering 755 HP at 1800 RPM. The unit supports a 3-phase, 60 Hz, 277/480V output, and can be configured to reconnect to different voltages with its 12 lead system. Featuring an 800 Amp main-line circuit breaker and a permanent magnet generator, it ensures reliable power delivery. Designed for durability, the generator includes a cooling radiator supporting an ambient temperature of up to 50°C (122°F) and comes in a UL 2200 listed package. It includes an EnerGenius 10 Amp battery charger and a coolant heater that accommodates 208/240/480V systems. The generator is housed within a weatherproof enclosure and sits atop an 850-gallon UL142 sub-base fuel tank with secondary containment. Dimensions are 86 inches wide by 188 inches long by 117 inches high, and it weighs 16,879 lbs. This unit is new, with zero operational hours and is covered by a Cummins 2-year or 1000-hour limited warranty. However, it’s important to note that batteries and startup are not included in the purchase. The generator is scheduled for availability on November 3, 2025.
